General FAQS

All payments are done directly through our website (www.vanityline.co.za) using secure payment gateways at checkout. Vanityline does not store any of your personal card information.

We have partnered with two payment facilitators, Payfast and PayFlex offering you a variety of secure payment options:

  • Payfast accept payments via credit and cheque card, instant EFT, debit cards, Snapscan, Mobicred, Masterpass, Moretyme and Zapper.
  • Payflex offers interest free payment plans, only pay 25% of your order upfront and the rest over a six week period in four equal interest free payments. No extra fees and it is completely free! Payflex accept Visa, Mastercards and American Express cards.

Vanityline reserves the right to ownership of all products until payment has reflected in our account.

Our products are carefully created using a blend of traditional handcrafted and modern machinery methods. Please allow for our standard manufacturing lead time of two – three weeks after placing an order. We always try to get your orders to you as soon as possible, however impeccable quality is our top priority and therefore we cannot accommodate rushed orders.
Please ensure that you have entered your order details correctly before checking out. If any errors are made, please contact our team at info@vanityline.co.za as soon as possible in order to assist you. Vanityline will not be responsible for incorrect delivery and personal details provided.
Orders are final and cannot be modified after orders are placed. We do not accommodate change of mind cancellations. Please ensure the correct items are ordered to avoid disappointment.
All products as part of Vanityline’s furniture range displayed on our website are exclusive to Vanityline’s collections. We do not offer customising of our standard designs including altering of sizing and colours. Our design team offer custom builds and furniture designs for bulk orders, bespoke furniture items and studio builds. For custom furniture enquiries, please contact: luke@vanityline.co.za

Returns will be accepted in the event of buyers receiving a defective product, i.e manufacturing defects such as missing or defective components. Due to the nature of our craft, products may vary in function, finish and colour. We do not accept change of mind returns.

Should your return request meet our criteria, please contact our team at info@vanityline.co.za within 48 hours after receiving your order to assist with your return.

Clients are responsible for packaging items securely to return to our workshop and will be liable for any damages caused due to insufficient packaging. Returns are subject to an exchange or refund only if items are received back to us in good order. Delivery charges will not be refunded.

We are proud to stand behind the quality of the products we sell. Our products go through thorough quality control checks and are packaged securely before leaving our premises. Although cases are rare, damages and defects do happen once in a while. It is the buyers responsibility to inspect your item(s) with the couriers upon delivery and before signing delivery paperwork. 

Vanityline will assist with any damage claims, however will not be held responsible for damages caused by clients and external courier companies.

In the event of your order arriving damaged or defective, please ensure we are notified of the details on the same day of delivery if you would like us to process a claim. Please include images as evidence of damages to be sent to our customer service team at info@vanityline.co.za

Delivery FAQS

We have partnered with reliable external courier services offering door to door delivery covering most cities within South Africa.
Delivery rates vary according to the item(s) ordered, weight and dimensions along with your unique delivery address. We offer flat delivery rates within Cape Town displayed at checkout. Nationwide delivery rates are automatically calculated upon entering your delivery address at checkout.
You will receive an email notification confirming your dispatch date once your order is near completion. Tracking details will be provided on the day of dispatch in order to follow your parcels journey. Cape Town orders will be delivered on the same day of collection from our workshop. National orders will be delivered within 2-5 working days after collection from our workshop.

Due to the nature of a courier company, it is not possible to confirm a specific delivery time. Typically, the driver will contact you before delivering your item. Times will vary according to your delivery address and the couriers schedule on the day of delivery. Cape Town orders will be delivered within the same day of collection and national orders will be delivered within 2-5 working days after collection. 

It is the buyers responsibility to ensure there is someone available at the delivery address to accept your order. Vanityline will not be responsible for failure of delivery due to the courier not being able to reach you.

If assembly is required, instruction manuals are provided to the customer. For your convenience, majority of our products are either fully or partially assembled. The couriers are not required to assist you in setting up your products. 

According to South African furniture delivery regulations, delivery services are only authorised to deliver your order to your door at ground floor level. Should your delivery address be situated above ground floor or require any hoistering and complex offloading methods, the couriers will not be able to assist.

Not to worry! As long as your order has not been dispatched from our workshop, our team will arrange to hold your order until you are ready to receive it. Please email us directly at info@vanityline.co.za to assist.
